To book your function at SAVVY please get in contact with us. Below are our terms and conditions for your perusal.

RESERVATIONS
Tentative bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days. Should your booking not be confirmed during this time we may release the table or room without notice.

DEPOSITS
Deposits are required for any bookings over 10 guests.  A fee of $10 per head will apply and is required a minimum of 7 days prior to the event.  This refundable deposit will be taken off the bill if the confirmed numbers are reached.  If the confirmed numbers are not met, this deposit will be forfeited.  This is to compensate the restaurant for lost trade, staffing and food preparation when staff must turn away other bookings to accommodate your group.
For large bookings, confirmation of your event must be in writing and accompanied by your deposit payment. Savvy Restaurant will forward an official receipt to confirm your booking and deposit received.
50% of the total food costs is due 30 days before your function date, with the remaining 50% paid 7 days before the event.  Beverage costs and other items will be finalised at the end of the function.  Payments can be made by EFTPOS, credit card or cash.

CONFIRMATION
Final details, such as menu selection, approximate number of guests, table plans, details of cake and formalities etc… must be provided at least 14 days prior to your event.
Guaranteed final number of guests attending must be advised 5 working days prior to the event.

ROOM HIRE
A minimum spend of $6000 applies to all Friday and Saturday evening functions.   Monday-Thursday evening is $4000.  Function times are 5pm-12am. Extension of this time period will incur additional charges.  Savvy is available for functions during the day at a minimum spend of $1000 or $500 for the Teppanyaki Table.

PAYMENTS
Payment of account is to be paid in full by the date specified by us. Any additional charges are to be paid for at the conclusion of your function, which will include any charges not authorised in the original agreement. Payments can be made by EFTPOS, credit card or cash. Personal cheques may be accepted by prior authorisation (if paying by cheque, 10 days clearance is required).

CANCELLATIONS
We would be disappointed should your reception be cancelled. However, if that should occur six months outside your agreed event date, the deposit will be reimbursed in full, subject to the room being re-sold. Cancellations six months inside will result in the deposit being forfeited subject to the room being re-sold.
Cancellations within two weeks of the event will incur full charges for the event. Any notice of cancellation must be forwarded to the restaurant in writing.

BYO AND CAKEAGE
No food and beverage of any kind may be brought into the premises for consumption during the event without permission. Where arrangements are made with permission, a corkage or cakeage charge per person will apply.  Corkage is $10 per head.  For staff to cut, plate and serve ice-cream with a cake it is $2.50 per person, alternatively guests can plate their own cake at no charge.

R.S.A
Responsible service of alcohol. Savvy Restaurant trades in accordance with the liquor licensing act.
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all attendees behave in an orderly manner during the event and do not breach the liquor licensing laws or policy. Savvy reserves the right not to serve patrons or escort them from the property should they be unduly intoxicated, disorderly or underage.

DAMAGE AND LOSS
The restaurant shall not accept responsibility and shall not be liable, notwithstanding any negligence on its part, for the loss of and or damage to any equipment, materials and displays left at the restaurant throughout the duration of the event, including its storage both prior and post event. The restaurant shall not be liable for any injury incurred by the client or their guests in the use, transport or storing of any equipment materials and displays, whilst it is on the premises. Any damage caused to the property or fittings during the function is the financial responsibility of the client.

CLEANING
Where an event has created cleaning requirements that are considered in excess of the general and normal cleaning standards, a cleaning surcharge or $100.00 per hour is applicable. Note that the use of confetti or rice within the restaurant is prohibited.

PARKING
Parking is strictly subject to availability. Savvy shall not accept responsibility and shall not be liable notwithstanding any negligence on its part, for the loss of and or damage to any vehicle (including accessories, or contents of goods, or articles left inside the vehicle) while it is in or on the car park premises.

GST
All prices quoted are inclusive of GST.

GRATUITIES
Savvy includes a 7% gratuity on the final bill which is equally shared amongst the staff.
